1. Satisfactory completion of the Qualifying Examination.
2. Current involvement in a counselling role and under the supervision of a counselling professional who is a registered member of a provincial or other government-approved association for counselling professionals.
3. Submission of a report from a Criminal Records Check completed by the RCMP or other legitimate police organization, within the last six months.
4. Acceptance of the CPCA Code of Ethics .
5. Completion of confidential psychological testing.
6. Proof of professional liability insurance .
7. Approval of the submitted Application Form by the CPCA membership committee.
