Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

People seek therapy for many reasons. Are you struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety? Do you have a challenging relationship that you would like to improve? Do you need to talk to someone to make sense of an overwhelming time in your life?

At the core of my practice is unconditional acceptance: I seek to provide for you a place of safety and complete non-judgment. My style is very adap and my goal is to cater to you in a way that resonates with you and uses my best skills and abilities to achieve your goals.

My speciality is in exploring, understanding and changing the core beliefs you have that lead to life patterns. By addressing your self worth, feelings of depression and anxiety can be lifted, challenges can be met head on, and you can your life anew.

I am also trained in the Gottman Method of couples therapy, a breakthrough approach spanning 40 years of research that s stronger relationships. Much of couples work is based on theory. Because The Gottman Method is evidence-based, it effectively uncovers why relationships succeed or fail.
