Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Cities of practice

My name is Rhonda Stewart, and I am offering my services as a Clinical Supervisor. I have my credentials as a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) as well as my accreditation as a Clinical Supervisor (MPCC-S). I have acquired and maintained my membership in good standing with the CPCA for 11 years.
For the larger portion of my career, I have been working for a not-for-profit organization offering culturally sensitive mental health therapeutic services to children and youth. I have also had my own private practice as well as provided contract work (for adults and couples) with Walmsley & Associates through their EAP program.
My approach to supervision is an integrated one. I am trained in EMDR, CBT-TFT, NT, SFT, MI, SBT and SAIP. My preferred supervisory models include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.
I currently live and work in Vanderhoof BC. Some of my interests include curling, reading, being in the great outdoors, and all animals, with a particular passion for horses. I am very dedicated and committed to my work. I consider it an honor and a privileged to be invited into the lives of the people I work with.
I am available to provide supervision evenings and weekends. I am willing to provide supervision virtually for trainees across Canada and am open to meeting in person if it is feasible.
