Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

I am Kevin; an action-oriented approach to counselling and life coaching will help you take decisive and transformational steps that create positive, healthy, balanced, and rewarding lives. I am passionate about supporting clients recover from emotional and mental health issues.

My approach originates from the belief that each of us is whole, creative, self-guiding, and meaning-making. All people have unique strengths and gifts that we draw upon to create a life of meaning. I will help you explore your strengths and talents on your path to your full potential.

The counselling process will help you examine, question, and transform unhelpful beliefs, assumptions, and negative self-talk (“the inner critic”) into strengths-based solutions in your life. My clients reflect deeply on themselves in a respectful, safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I support my clients in taking decisive and transformational steps to create positive, healthy, balanced, and rewarding lives.

Recently I added culture-centred Disaster Mental Health Counselling (C-DMHC) services to my practice to support clients recovering from the mental health impacts of pandemic stress and COVID-19 recovery.

My academic training consists of a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto.

I am a certified professional life coach (International Coaching Federation) applying workplace mental health perspectives evolving from real-world experience as a product and innovation manager in Big Tech (Microsoft, Mozilla), banking (TD Bank), telecom (Bell Canada), and digital media (The Globe and Mail) sectors.
